IIE is an interactive sound project that overlaps aural and tactile stimuli to create experiences for the whole body. The work generates an auditory environment in which one can experiment with the vibration and acoustic energies produced by infrasound. The atypical communication potential of sound becomes tangible to the viewer.

The project goes beyond the borders of human hearing and acoustic perception that we are used to. The installation combines a 250-inch long organ pipe, a wind generator and a video-tracking interface for multi-user interaction. Dynamic aspects, such as the pace and direction of the user’s movements creates a variable subsonic environment.
